Christmas Trip to Angkor Wat
Tara & I went for a weekend trip from Bangkok to Siem Reap on Christmas. It takes around an hour to get out of the Bangkok Metropolitan Area and than another three hours to the Thai-Cambodian Border Poipet. incredible india? well, not really.
Tara and I spent Christmas and New Years Eve in India. It was a great trip but overall we both came to the conclusion that India is far away from being as charming and spiritual as advertised. For a bit more than two weeks we explored the northern part of India. From Calcutta up to Darjeeling into the Sikkim Himalaya region…
Impacts of Social Media on the Journalistic Zeitgeist
Just a century ago our news structure was dramatically different than today: a world of pigeon posts, telegraphs, and air mail, methods of communication that are now just faded images only found in history books. Now every one of us is receiving a constant and immediate flood of news, photographs, stories and gossip from all over the world via Twitter, Facebook, Blogs and millions of RSS Feeds, at a rate and amount that would have been inconceivable only a decade ago.

Short Trips Koh Tao & Khao Yai
My friends Sarah and Nydia from Germany came to visit me for a few weeks and we did some short trips to Koh Tao and to Khao Yai.

Einer der wohl aufregendesten Reisen die ich je gemacht habe. Es ist schwierig wirklich einem roten Faden zu folgen und Chronologisch würde es ziemlich lange dauern alles festzuhalten.

Der Iran ist definitiv mein Favorit, allerdings sind Pakistan und Afghanistan auch wahnsinnig faszinierende Länder! Ich weiß garnicht wo ich anfangen soll zu erzählen! Die meisten haben ja eh schon stundenlang mit mir im Skype verbracht und kennen die Chronologie, hier also mal die Assoziativ Version meiner Reise…

fliege in ein paar tagen und melde mich jetzt erstmal ab – werde für den nächsten monat im mittleren osten sein (azerbaidjan, iran, pakistan, evtl. auch afghanistan je nach politischer situation).
