Morphine and Redshirt Fireworks

I just came back from Hospital and carrying some new metal in my right arm. Unfortunately my broken bones from the gunshot during the protests grew back together in a wrong way – so I had to do surgery on Friday.
Everything went well but I had a lot of pain afterwards. It was a good decision to stay there for a few days because they supplied me with this heaven-like morphine injections. It was also very nice to meet Thansarut. A redshirt protester who was lying next to me. I did this interview with him yesterday…

Red March in Bkk (Saturday)

The first groups of the red shirts settling down in the center of Bangkok. I went from Lak Si to the inner city and took some pictures and interviews. At the moment around 100.000 confirmed protesters (The Nation) entered the city.

Weekend Demonstrations in BKK

In the next days (starting today) over one million demonstrators are expected in Bangkoks streets (Why?). These demonstrations were postponed several times, but today it looks like its happening. New Government laws were made to secure everything and force the red shirts for a quiet and non violent demonstration.  Some people also expect a coup and difficult situations near the Government buildings. Lets see how its gonna be…
